About this place
Located at the foot of Mount Uhud, this open historic area helps visitors understand the setting of the Battle of Uhud and its enduring lessons. The visit includes views of Mount Uhud, the martyrs’ area, and the archers’ hill from designated public spaces. Morning or late afternoon is recommended, especially during warmer months.
